“Your Own from Your Own”

Stewardship: A Reflection of the Resurrection

As we celebrate the glorious Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the profound message of renewal, sacrifice, and love that defines our faith. Pascha is more than a celebration; it is also a call to action to serve as faithful stewards of God’s many blessings with renewed commitment and dedication.

The Gospel teaches us that everything we have is a gift from God. Our time, talents, and treasures are entrusted to us not for our own benefit, but so that we may glorify Him and serve others.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10

During this holy season, let us renew our commitment to stewardship, embrace this sacred responsibility and, in doing so, draw closer to Christ and His eternal Kingdom. Whether through acts of charity, volunteering in our parish, or offering financial support, we embody Christ’s teachings when we give with a joyful heart.

“God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
